I find it interesting that the longer I go without writing a blog entry the more I feel like I have nothing to post. I am currently trying to figure out what direction I want "Southern State of Mind" to go in. I don't feel like this blog has always been a great depiction of my heart, so I plan to start sharing more about my life. I want to be able to look back on these entries one day and reminisce, so here's my promise to start posting more frequently.
I wish I could tell you that I have filled out my final job application, but that doesn't seem to be the case as of yet. This job search is becoming more and more frustrating, as another school year quickly approaches. I am trying to be patient and faithful in God's great plan for me and to not let this process have a negative effect on my mind and attitude. Please pray with me as I continue in this, what sometimes feels like an endless, journey. Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,”
declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to
give you hope and a future.”
Dan is officially finished with college and is moving back home tomorrow. Although I will miss visiting Statesboro, I am so thrilled that the 3 and a half hour distance between us will be cut down to 1! At least I can be happy about that!
